PRAYER BLANKET MINISTRY

The Prayer Blankets are blessed by our priests. If you should see the prayer blankets on the altar rail, please come forward after Mass and lay your hands on the blankets saying a prayer of healing for the ill who will receive them.

If you would like to donate your time and talent and help to make the prayer blankets, there is a pattern available. If you have supplies and materials, but don’t sew, we welcome your donations.

To request a Prayer Blanket, volunteer to help make blankets, donate materials or submit testimonies, please contact Ms. Janice Romig (504) 301-9205 or Mrs. Lucy Pittman (504) 733-9785.

WANTED
ALTAR SERVERS

St. Agnes is recruiting Altar Servers. If your sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters are in Grades 3 through High School and are interested in becoming an Altar Server, please encourage them to get involved in this wonderful ministry. It is a good ministry to help them gain their self-confidence to appear in public. Applications can be picked up on the tables at all of the Church exits, or call the rectory office.

OUR ST. VINCENT De PAUL FOOD BANK NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!!

As we get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is that time again to help St. Agnes' St. Vincent de Paul Society refurbish their food bank. In order to help those in need, they will need to fill their food bank back up. Any help you can give them with non-perishable foods or even monetary donations so that they can purchase the foods, please do so. There is a bin in back of church where you can drop off your non-perishables. Monetary donations can be dropped off in the collection basket. Thanks again for your help!
